Notes

This table shows the maximum temporal frequency supported in each mesonet. Depending on the mesonet, some or all of the stations will report at this frequency.
  1. WIDOT has 2 or 3 sites that report data more often than once an hour. These are all local calls. Between 10/1 and 4/30 they attempt to get data at least once an hour for each site. Outside of those months they generally get data once every 4 hours from most sites.
  2. 4/7/05: INDOT is now acquiring data once per hour between 5/1 and 9/30, 10 minute data the rest of the year.
  3. KYTC-RWIS has 5 minute data that's collected once or twice an hour.
  4. NDDOT has one station (ND011) that reports every 15 minutes.
  5. WYDOT has sites that report between 5 minutes and 20 minutes.
  6. PCDINPE's data is reported between 1.5 and 4 hours late, with only the small amount of data that's < 2 hours old getting processed by our real-time system. Most of the data from this network is only available on a next-day basis from our data recovery system.
  7. SAI stations - 5 minute, SUPERAWOS stations - hourly, MODOT stations - 10 minute, KE28 - 15 minute.
  8. HADS and NERRS reports are collected once per hour and may contain 15 minute data.
  9. RDMTR reports are collected every 15 minute or every hour, and may contain 1 minute data.
  10. WxFlow reports are collected every 15 minutes and contain 5-minute observations.
