To Recover an Expired/Forgotten Password:
Passwords can be reovered if expired/forgotten by selecting Forgotten Password from the MADIS Password Self Service Website link above.
As shown below, the selection displays a Forgotten Password Dialog box prompting for your username. Enter in your username and follow the steps to reset your password. If you have not setup your password responses previously, you will need to Setup Responses as described below first in order to complete this process.
To Setup Responses:
Why is it important that you setup password responses to secret questions?
- Setting up responses to secret questions allows you to more efficiently gain access back to your MADIS user account upon your password being expired/forgotten. This process also enables you to change your password at any time.
In order for you to recover an expired/forgotten password, you will need to setup some responses to secret questions by selecting Setup Responses from the MADIS Password Self Service Website link above. If you have not already logged into the website, you will be prompted to enter in your username and password. Once logged in, you will be able to select and/or create some secret questions with answers that will help you remember your password.
